AMANE resort SEIKAI

It was an excellent stay. We were traveling almost a month and I would say this place was one of top that I stayed. It can be difficult to get here without a car but it’s really worth it. Our room was ocean view with private outdoor bath but the public bath was just wonderful. I wish my time has stopped right there. We had French dinner at the hotel. I thought the restaurant lighting was little too bright for that kind of fancy dining place but I see my meal very well.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, great facilities. A full apartment with pool, Jacuzzi, and hotspring. Two bedrooms, a kitchenette, big tv and sofa area. The facilities were great although we never ate in the restaurants.

Amazing accommodation and great stay !!! I'd like to say the photoes in the hotel websites cannot show how good is the hotel room and how good is the seaside view. The seaside it not talking about the clear water and blue sky but peaceful sea with sunset view. My family felt 100% relax when enjoying the onsan in the private onsan room. The space design of the room is excellent and accommodates to each guests' needs. The breakfast is as great as what the other travelers' comments on the hotel review. Absolutely you can't miss it. Highly recommend. A great deal of food variety and yummy. Fresh ingredients and freshly made. Additionally the service is very high quality and warm. No adverse comments at all. Love to re-booking next time :)

Room was lovely. A bit far from town. Spa service was amazing. French dinner was great. Japanese dinner was very subpar. My husbands wagyu was four slices perfectly prepared. Mine was three chunks with inedible gristle. The sushi restaurant was closed.

Lovely room with private Onsen in room. Large and spacious for the three of us (extra bed was done by converting the sofa by the window into a large bed - tatami style). Very clean and modern. Gorgeously decorated room with wooden floors, modern bathroom. Toilet was separate, with its own sink as well. Large walk in closet with room to spare for 3 large suitcases. Small kitchenette, well-stocked with drink ware, clean kettle. Private Onsen adjacent to bathroom with incredible view of Beppu Bay. Housekeeping was excellent. Lots of bins in the room. An abundance of footwear provided - Geta for use around hotel facilities, slippers for use inside the room, separate slippers for use on the balcony. Mattresses were comfortable. Location good in the area of Beppu. Staff were polite and friendly, very helpful - especially the gentlemen in the carpark who would help direct our car and park it as well. Welcome drink in the lobby was appreciated. Hotel was made of 3 buildings. Went to the Umi building for seafood dinner (no need to go outside, buildings interconnected). Staff at that restaurant was polite and efficient. Breakfast had a good selection of both Western and Japanese foods.
